Ranting out the problem you face on a social networking sites is childish, I know. But there are times you feel very frustrated that you needed a space to rant it out. Speaking to someone is good, but there are many times where you couldn't find a suitable person to can just listen to your ranting wholeheartedly.
Do you ever encounter a person who seems so reliable but then you slowly realize he/she isn't that great but actually worst? He/she seems to be so reliable, a responsible person and could solve any problem. But then when things really get worse or trouble risen, he/she actually try to swift it away to other people like it is non of her business? I believe there is one like that wherever you go.
I do slowly realize the existence of this person in my new career path. At first, I do think she is reliable and a responsible person. Slowly, I get to know that she isn't that great though. I am not saying when trouble comes she should have take the whole responsibility. I mean we could have join responsibility and solve the problem together.
But what I have been getting is whenever we co-handle a project together, when a trouble comes she will try to put it all to me. And for those that she is in charged of, I am not idea why I am the one always getting blamed or scolded for all her wrongdoing. I can assist when you aren't free, but that wasn't my responsibility to deal with.
You seems to be caring that you are taking all the necessary stuffs with you so that I do not have to bring that much. But all you do was packed everything yours into the bag and ask me to bring the whole bag saying you don't drive. Then what's the point acting like you are the one providing everything?
When you did some mistakes or encounter problem, you'll keep ranting for help. But when I needed guidance or assistance, are you really there to help me? You will only make it like I have done something very wrong and provide no solutions.
I am really getting sick of this kind of person. Maybe you are good in befriending everyone, but I am different. I do not know why and how long I will need to get blamed on your behalf for all your mistakes.
The month of January is always the month that I am anticipating for. No other reason aside as it is my birth month. In younger days, I would expect how many people would be wishing me, how many gifts will I get and so on. As I get older, I just wish for one thing. I hope I can spend my birthday calmly and peacefully. I no longer need a lot of people around me to celebrate it with me. As long as I have sincere friends and family by my side, I am more than content. And I am always grateful to have those friends who never forget my birthday and take effort to take me out, to give me something on time for my birthday.
I realized this when I get older. Old friends who know you well no longer try to ask you out on your exact birthday. They will do it in advance or at a later date. All because they know you may want to spend that day with someone very dear to you. I really am very grateful to have not only one, but a bunch of friends who are so caring.
I have forgotten since which year, my dearest friends started to have only one and same wish for my birthday. That wish is no other than me getting a boyfriend who love me sincerely. I stay single since my last relationship back in 2008, it is hitting the the 9th year in 2017. I have be single all the while for nine years. I know it sounds ridiculous but there are people out there who are still virgin in relationship for the entire life too. So I don't really think my condition is that of a big deal. While I do wish to once again experience the taste of dating, I am taking my step real slow. I have kind of getting used to be alone, I know this doesn't do good but habit is a habit, hard to change. But fear not my dear friends, I will give more effort to come out from the shell and started looking for the right guy.
This year not not only that my birthday fell on a weekday, but that I need to go for event. It was a really long day for me, the 11th, 12th and 13th. I experienced what I wish to avoid facing during my birthday. On the 11th, I had a very long day dealing with artwork for clients, on the 12th a very long working hours and drenched in sweat and I become so smelly on my birthday, and on 13th client throwing tantrum at me for thing that partly not my fault (but I have to take responsibility too since I am the person in charged).
It is just some mishap that always happen in life and I shall not mind too much of it. I just wish for the work to end smoothly and everything to come peacefully till end of Chinese New Year. I will and always hope for a peace and calm January.
Last but not least, I still wanna wish myself a Happy Birthday!
I have always like the idea of clubbing. To some people, clubbing to them is associated with a bad meaning, getting drunk and out of control, or even involve in some drug related substances. Actually, clubbing isn't that bad nor dangerous as what your parents told you. But it is undeniable that you need to listen to your parents' advice on be extra careful when you go to club.
So what does clubbing means to me? To me, clubbing is a form of relaxation for human being, both physically and mentally. Clubbing isn't just about swallowing alcoholic liquid and moving your body to the left and right. It is a form of socializing with your friends, get to know your friends better and even get to know new friends.
For this to happen, first and foremost, you have to mingle with the right people. The right people I mean here are not those usual gang that you went out with having tea or coffee session. These persons must be outgoing, sociable, and most importantly a drinker. If he or she doesn't drink, why would you want her/him to be at the club? Don't tell me orange juice taste better at clubs.
Secondly, you would need someone who are good at playing games. I am not referring to those games with full concentration like chess. I am talking bout card games, dice and some simple and easy to play games. We usually play games like Big Two (or better known as Chor Dai Dee), Blackjack or dice games. You don't have to be really good at it, knowing the basic rules will do. If these games are too boring, you will always have that someone who always have new games to introduce to you all.
Thirdly, it is always an advantage to club with someone who can dance. The dance here I am not referring to those hip hop or b-boy, those street dance. I am talking about those who can feel the music and move with the rhythm. If you still don't get it, we need someone like 'I jump, you jump'. We don't need fancy clubbers who dance like a pro, all we need is someone who can "move it move it" together with us.
Not forgetting this, I shall advise you to club with small gang, around 5-6 people is the best. Why? If you ask me isn't it the more the merrier, I will say NO. The more people you have, the less fun you get. When we go to club, there is an opportunity to know new friends. If you tend to party with a whole bunch of friends, all you get to mingle with the same bunch of people. We Malaysian are still very shy in approaching people. How la people dare to approach you when you are surrounded with one whole gang of people? Do remember this, lesser people more space.
Talking as if I am a frequent clubber, actually I am not. I don't remember when was the last time I went to a club, maybe around 2 years ago. Why? Because I have always been to club with a whole bunch of people. And in the whole bunch of people, not everyone drink or dance. With these people around, the level of FUN-ness will surely get reduced. I am a very cautious people, I don't get to really free myself when I am with people that I am not close with. I have yet to really get the right people to club with. But I do have form my own gang of drinking buddies.
My drinking buddies
We always went to nearby for a drink session and until recently, we went for another round at a place slightly further than our homes. This time, we not only went for just a drink, we also went to club. I think it has been over 2 years since I last went to a club. And probably the best one of all the clubbing experiences I have it here (except for the one I visited in Busan back in 2012).
There is no dance floor nor any Kpop songs (my fav) played but I do enjoy myself to the most. I don't dance like there is no tomorrow, but through dancing I have shredded off all the stress accumulated since I started working after graduated from my degree course. My shoulder feel much more lighter than before and I feel refreshed, both my mind and body. I know there are people out there thinking clubbing is a waste of time and money and is an unhealthy lifestyle. Different people have and prefer different methods to release stress. I am not saying that one should go clubbing whenever they have a need to release stress. Go for clubbing once in a while wouldn't really damage you that much isn't it? I am not asking you to visit very high end clubs and drink tonnes of alcohol or drink some fancy wine or champagne. Just bear in mind that having moderate alcoholic drinks can help in blood circulation. And dancing actually makes you feel younger, at least in your heart.
You must remember, you only live once. Why not try something fast pace and exciting while you still have the energy and passion? It wouldn't feel the same when you do it at a later age though you are doing the same thing. Youth doesn't stop for you and do appreciate and make use of it when you are at it. Go to clubs people!
2014 is coming to an end soon and everyone, I guess is anticipating this month of December mostly because of Christmas. I bet couples already have a list of what to do, where to go, what to eat, what present to be given to their other half. I am not sure whether you have already know, but there is an additional day where Korean couples celebrate in Korea.
Koreans have a specific day every month to do a specific thing. It is a mid-month celebrations for couples in Korea. To be specific, the said day is the 14th of every month. I don't actually know this beforehand until I saw a post on Allkpop. You may check the post and its explanation of each specific day here.
For easy referencing, I have list down the mid-month celebration as follow:
Jan 14th - Diary Day Feb 14th - Valentine's Day Mac 14th - White Day Apr 14th - Black Day May 14th - Yellow Day / Rose Day June 14th - Kiss Day July 14th - Silver Day Aug 14th - Green Day Sept 14th - Photo Day/ Music Day Oct 14th - Wine Day Nov 14th- Movie Night Dec 14th - Hug Day
I am not sure about what you think on this mid-month celebrations practiced by Koreans but I find it quite pretty and it isn't a bad idea to celebrate it. And actually Korea couple don't just show their affection on these particular days, they actually show it all-year-long. Koreans couples, be it man or woman, they are not afraid or shame in showing off their affections publicly. You may easily spot couples with matching clothes, shoes, bags or whatever you can mention. For singles, you need to be mentally strong enough to walk on the streets in Korea or else you will be defeated by endless of jealousy and envious, and mostly loneliness.
Since it's December now, let's talk a bit on it. Actually I have never anticipated the coming of December since 5 years ago. I know that most people anticipated December because of Christmas. I once thought December will be a month I anticipated much beside January (my birth month). However, everything changed 5 years ago, which was also the year where I anticipated the coming of December more than ever.
Dec 24th, Christmas Eve, an excuse where people use to gather around for celebration. Be it with your family, friends or special half. 5 years ago, that day used to be meaningful for me because it will be a day where I not only get to exchange present with other, it was also a day where I will celebrate the birth day of someone whom I used to love so dearly. Dec 24th is my ex's birthday. While I was still scratching my head to come out with a special events to make him happy, on this very Dec 14th he decided to put an end towards our relationship.
5 years had passed, but this Dec 14th is still clearly embedded in my mind and heart. NO, it's not that I am still clinging to him, I have gotten over him. It's just that that particular day, the memory I had is way too difficult to just let it go. It all started 5 years ago where I, subconsciously will be emo during every December. To be honest, there was a time where I hated December very much.
For this fifth year, when I get to know that Dec 14th is a Hug Day (it's freezing winter in Korea, so you hug people to give warm) I could imagine how lonely it is for singles on this particular day. No no, I am not being too emo this time (though it is better to have someone hugging you). After my long time from Korea this autumn, something has change my mindset. Being singles isn't bad after all. I get to know people regardless of sex, need to worry if I try to pick on any Korean guy or adoring any guy. Or another word, I do not have to worry, or I should say I have the right to flirt with any guy I am interested in (of course if only the guy is single too).
Though I would love to date someone now, I think it is better for me to stay being single for the moment. For those who are currently in a relationship, may you have a good Christmas with your loved ones and do not forget to give him/her a hug on Dec 14th. For those who are single like me, may you get to find someone special this Christmas. Happy December peeps!
p/s : Yes, I went to Korea this autumn and I had an amazing Korea tour (as you may see from the picture above where I took a picture with a quite ok Korean guy). I am not sure when I will finish blog about it and I will try to make time for it. Till then, see ya! n_n
So, I have finally found myself a job and will be starting on Wednesday on the 18th. The company is one where media students will really wish to work at. However, I have to say it is not my first choice, or I should say it never come in my list. My passion is always on event management and I would hopefully going to entertainment company or something sort of that. There is one that I really love to go, but their company is not in need of manpower in KL branch. So I have to give up. Just to clarify, the company I am going is a really huge company with its international base and the company is really great (good benefits for employees).
I am going to be a media planner, and honestly I am still not fully understand what I am going to do. Perhaps, I will get the hold of it when I started it. I am really nervous and worry now thinking how am I going to interact with new working environment and colleagues. I am really comfortable with the previous working place coz all young people and we communicate crazily (we are a bunch of crazy people and our jobs are just so crazy). Coming to this, it reminds me of my internship working environment. It was really hard to remember all the colleagues' names and communicate with them freely. I can only remember those in my department and I was still shy around them after being there for two months. I did got more comfortable thanks to the Christmas party.
Anyway, I am gaining weight like a boss. Oh well, I should say the weight didn't really skyrocket, it just like 1kg. BUT!!! I have become chubbier and chubbier! OMG!!! I have got to exercise! I needa to go to gym! I am indecisive in going which gym. I can only get that allowance once I am done with probation. Oh my, help me please!! #D2 #Lifeofunemployed P/S: Oh my! I lake of formal wear and please tell me what should I wear!!
It has been such a long time that I finally attended a concert by my favourite act. For those who know me, you should have know that I am a hug fan of TVXQ. I am proud to be known as cassiopeia. But one things that kept make me sad was that I did not event attend their concert once though they were here twice for concert. Many people asked me why I never attend their concert as it was so awesome. I could answer you I wanted to attend desperately. However, I am not born in a family that could understand why I am willing to spend tens of ringgit for a cd album where I could get a pirated one at RM5 each, not to mention about spending hundreds of ringgit for a concert where I gained nothing. And at that time, TVXQ were here for concert when I was still in secondary school. I don't own that much of money and also transport for the concert. What I could do was waiting for news coverage on TV and newspaper for the concert.
My mum once scolded me for non-stop buying TVXQ albums. It was when I showed her a picture of the album and told her I wanna buy that. I was 16 at that time, and each time before I buy something "expensive" (by expensive I mean it's over RM50), I will tell her first as if I am getting her permission to do so. Well, you can say I am being rebellious because despite of my mum's scolding, I will still proceed in buying TVXQ albums. As time goes by, my mum already accepted that I will buy TVXQ original album as she sometimes accompany me going to Speedy or Rock Corner to have a look at those CD albums. I was once hesitating whether I should buy the Asia version or the imported from Korea version of TVXQ 1st album as the Korea version was double the price of the Asia one. Surprisingly, my mum said it's up to me to buying which one instead of asking me to buy the cheaper one. Because of this, I realized that my mum has already accepted the fact that I won't buy non-original TVXQ albums. My mum does know that I buy lots of TVXQ album, but she didn't know exactly how many I own and how much I had spent on it. If she know I bought that TONE album for RM90, I will be dead meat.
Back to story, finally TVXQ is coming for a concert after 6 years. I finally have the chance to attend it and I have the transport to the venue. I knew I will get scolded so I bought the ticket without telling any of my family members. Until it was like 5 days before the D-day, I only told them I am attending the concert. And of course I got a little lecture even though I am going for the cheapest one. Imagine if I go for rock zone!!! But then, for sure my mum know I like TVXQ very much. Although she gave me lecture on it, I knew that she cares for me very much, she just doesn't want me to spend money recklessly. She actually worried that I will get lost on the way to Shah Alam. Oh well, for TVXQ, I gotta go no matter what.
The concert started around 6.10pm. And TVXQ came on stage in white suit. Yes! Real prince charming in white appeared on stage. Oh ya, before that, I must explain that I will be talking more on U-know Yunho as he is my fav. Max Changmin is awesome too, it's just that I can't take my eyes off Yunho. I have always wanted to watch their performances of Rising Sun, Mirotic and O Jung Ban Hap without JYJ. Please don't get misunderstand, I just wanted to know how they can perform the whole song with just the two of them. And yes, TVXQ did not disappoint anyone while performing those songs. It is just so awesome. The stage still look so small to me even though there were just two of them.
During their solo part, Yunho performed Honey Funny Bunny. And I never expected he could do those kind of dance. OMG, it's just so smexy!! I was shouting like crazy when he did that! OMG!! I became crazy again when the screen showing VCR of him giving Sulli a peck at the cheek while Before U Go was playing as the background music. Actually I wanted to watch the whole performance of Before U Go, but the performance was just so little for that song. That was the only part where I am a little bit disappointed because I love that songs very much.
Concert won't be perfect without some cute props. Mini planes were brought on stage and TVXQ took a ride on it. The plane was supposed to bring TVXQ to the front stage and landed there, but the one that Yunho rode on experienced some technical problem and it was hanging on air while it was landing. And yes, this kid decided to jump down from the plane as it wasn't going to land at all. I was worried like mad when he jumped down. All the fans including me kept chanting "andwae" but he still jump down. Luckily he was not hurt at all.
There was a time where Yunho was running like a kid on stage. And at that moment, something just popped up in my mind. Where else can I find a more perfect man other than Yunho? He is charismatic, he has the charm to melt everyone's heart, he can be strict and fierce and yet he is cute. I love his solo dancing part where he did handstand. I knew he will do that but I din expect that he did that in that white suit. Oh my prince charming!!! By the way, Changmin is just so cute! He may be a grown up now, but deep in cassies' hearts, he is still the maknae!! Haha.
I was a bit emotional when they sang medley of their old songs and when the VCR playing footage of their old days. My friend beside me dropped her tears during that VCR. That VCR could be longer if it weren't for the split (Homin and JYJ). I hold back my tears because I don't want to be ugly duckling during the concert. I think that I should be happy as I finally attended their concert!! n_n
Fan chant for Mirotic was awesome!!! I am proud to be part of that. And I am also proud to be part of the red ocean. It was amazing! The hand held banner is meaningful! I am glad that I do not miss this concert. I fell more in love with TVXQ and Yunho now.
On another, I found an iPhone when I was about to leave the stadium. Oh well, to be exact, it was the cassies in front of me found that phone and asked whether it belongs to me or my friends. It wasn't ours and that cassies kept on asking what to do with that phone. My friends were rushing to airport and I know that cassies was also rushing. So I decided to take care of that phone and I managed to return that phone to its owner. Luckily the phone owner didn't lock her phone with password, or else I couldn't contact her on the spot. Haha, be more careful next time ya, the iPhone owner!! n_n
For all the pictures here, credit on the picture itself ya!
I promised to make a blogpost on my summer camp in Busan. But then, the post never come out at all. Why? The picture resolution is high and it takes forever to upload it to here. Yes, and I have plenty of pictures taken back in Busan. So, maybe someday, when I am free, I will make a post. So, it has been over four months since my last post. That shows how hectic I was for the past four months till I have no time to write something here. Now, I do have some time.
I have finally put an end to my degree life. It was the last semester that I got myself a P2 for a subject. And so it dragged down my CGPA. Still, I pass the subject and the whole course. But another sad case is that I may only attend my convocation on November and this means I am only getting my certificate after nearly one year upon my graduation. I do hope that UniSA send the parchment faster and I am eligible to attend the convocation on May.
So, Chinese New Year is now over and I started looking for job. I am looking for job at event company (the best choice will be artiste management company, if possible teehee). I am really fed up with traffic jams but the all the event companies are either located in KL are or PJ. I am really in dilemma mode now and all of the sudden, I miss the time of me being a student. Student's life is the BEST!
So back in January, I traveled to Bangkok with Eunice and Sue Ann. It's my first oversea trip with friends. The main purpose was to shops for CNY clothes. Oh my dear, all the clothes are so cheap. I feel like wanna go there again, it's a shopping paradise!!! It was like the 6th or 7th times I have been to Thai and my 3rd time to Bangkok. Lol...so if you are looking forward for some nice scenery pictures of Bangkok, I am sorry!! Check out the photo at my Facebook
I also bleached part of my hair and dyed it to purple. But the result is not what I expected to be. And now it has faded to pink or orange or white. Where can I find a job with my current hair colour? I also went to Skybar. It is indeed a nice place to hang out, probably for the well being one. I love the atmosphere, wine plus chit-chatting. Wanted to go there again with my other half, if only I am able to find one.
It was on the last day of CNY, I really love the makeup done. And of course, I camwhored. It is alreadt 2am now and I need to sleep. P/S : I just got the news that I may be able to attend the convo on May 18. You know what? That is the say TVXQ coming here for concert. What a coincidence!!!
After the hectic weeks in the two final weeks of my 5th semester, I am now finally having my one and half months semester break. Just before my semester break where I submitted my one of my final assignments, I had a performance on that night for TUDC's event Friday Night Fever- The 70's. My club was invited to have a performance. Since the theme is 70's, of course we are covering T-Ara's Roly Poly and SJ EunHae's Oppa Oppa. I only cover Roly Poly and I am in charge of Qri's part. Wearn said that I am similar to Qri n_n. Our dressing code is must to have polka dots. I wanted to be different and I bought a dress while the rest of them wearing shirts and shorts. But they like my dress so much and it is so 70's.
I am not a dancer and I am really bad with it though I like dancing very much. On top of that, we need to dance in heels. I missed two or three beats during the performance and I am so sad. But then it is quite fun too. And I also met Progression's member, Shao Yi at the event. Wow, I have to admit he has a charm which I like *blush*. Too bad he is younger than me or else I will fall for him. He is so nice and I hope I didn't really startle him by approaching him and asked for a photo.
Our team.
My semester break is really quite awesome or I should use 'hectic' to describe it. It begins with non-stop partying. First party will be attending Eunice's birthday party celebration at Black Magic Club. This is my second time clubbing with my friends and this is first time clubbing with Leng Lengs. And this is the first time I am sleeping over my friend's house. There is nothing much I can say, but it is awesome. Here's the picture. Thanks Eunice's friend, Wai Kin for fetching us.
Second party at the next day at Eunice's house. Yes, she had 2-day birthday celebration. Like normal party, we have buffet catering at night. I reached home at 12am something that morning night. Third party at the next day too. Yea, three days continuous parties! It was Tze's birthday. I only drink during the first party and rest for the next two parties. Yea..it is very tired as I sleep around 3am everyday. The fourth party, which is one week later at Pei Ling's house.
During the day, I went out with my buddies, Nicole and Czelyn to buy birthday present for the birthday girl. Since I have a 20% discount voucher of Ellui Accessories, we buy items from there. Each of us chose one item for Pei Ling, so in total there are three items. I really love the one I chose i feel like owning it myself. I am glad that the birthday girl like the present so much. And wow, she received a Couch bag I is jealous. Well, I didn't really drink until late of night.
When Nicole left, I finished off her half can of Tiger beer. Not until late of night, I had my whole can of beer. All I can say is when the beer is not cold enough, it taste really bad. Maybe I am used to Tiger beer these days, Carlsberg is so just so bad to drink. If I can choose, for sure I drink Tiger. But then the birthday girl open a can of Carlsberg for me, I don't think I have any other options. I do not drink just because I want to though i wanted to drink till drunk as i am feeling sad, we those kids just can't and don't wish to disrespect a uncle who ask us to drink where himself also drinking despite he is not in good condition. Of course, I can't finish it at one go like the rest of them. Upon reaching 3/4, I can already feel the effect. Upon finishing it, I can already feel the adrenaline rush and my eyes see things which has lomo effects (those who drink will know).
I know I can't sit as I am pretty sure I won't be able to stand up if I sit. And to reduce the dizziness that I have, I kept on eating some food i need sustenance. I know my face is damn red, this is what I get when I drink. My body is red too. I admit being the poorest when it comes to alcohol tolerance among my high school friends. But I am really getting better day by day. Party ended and I reached home around 3am. Brushed up and get ready to sleep when I received a call for a talk which lasted bout 30 minutes and I slept at 4.30am something. Damn, I am really lack of sleep right now.
By the way, I have been chose as a student ambassador for delegate of Hansung University who are coming here for a English Language course. I will spend my semester break with 30 Koreans soon. Hehe..can't wait for it. That's all for now. Annyeong!
